Władysławowo sits at the root of the Hel Peninsula, where the land narrows and the road toward Hel begins. Haller's Bay, the harbour, dunes, and a long beach make it a summer town first: windsurfing, fish stalls, and heavy seasonal traffic.
It is the practical gateway if you are heading to Chałupy, Jastarnia, Jurata, or Hel itself. Out of season it shrinks back to a fishing port and a walk on the dyke. From Gdańsk or the airport it is the standard peninsula transfer.
