Wejherowo is a Kashubian town north-west of Gdańsk, known above all for Kalwaria Wejherowska, a 17th-century calvary of chapels in the hills. The Przebendowski palace and a modest centre sit below.
It is not a resort; it is a living town on the way to the coast and the Kashubian lakeland. Pilgrims and walkers use the calvary paths; others pass through toward Władysławowo or Hel. A short hop from the Tri-City, it rewards a slower stop.
