Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport (GDN) is Pomerania's main international gateway, about 12 km west of the historic centre. Most arrivals continue to Gdańsk Old Town, Sopot, Gdynia, or the Baltic coast rather than lingering at the terminal.
The airport is compact: one passenger terminal, car parks, and a straightforward pickup zone for private transfers. From here the Tri-City and the Hel Peninsula are an easy drive, which is why many visitors book a car on landing instead of changing trains with luggage.
